ADP receives gold award recognition from HRD magazine

01 December, 2018

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia – December 1, 2018 – ADP has been recognised by the HRD magazine industry supplier awards as the payroll systems gold award recipient in Australia.

The award recognises ADP’s exceptional success in the payroll systems sector of the Australian market.

ADP has the ability to provide payroll solutions to businesses of all sizes using a variety of service models, from DIY software as a service, to managed service and the ultimate complete outsource “advanced managed service” model.

ADP’s payroll solution integrates with time and attendance software and human resource management solutions to provide a complete solution from hire to pay. The ADP electronic payments service facilitates superannuation, PAYG and 3rd party payments from payroll. This end to end solution offers the benefits of time saving and managing compliance solutions.

Earlier this year ADP received another award for service delivery from The ISG Paragon Awards™ - held by ISG (Information Service Group), a leading global technology research and advisory firm. The awards recognise and reward the achievements of industry leaders across six categories of collaboration, transformation, leadership, imagination, excellence, impact and the ISG special award.

Eddie Megas, Managing Director, ADP Australia and New Zealand commented “It’s wonderful to receive yet another recognition for our payroll services and this time from the HR community. It’s a testament to all of the ADP associates who passionately provide leading payroll service to our clients.”

The human resources profession is at the forefront of critical issues in businesses today, as more and more CEOs are talking about the role of talent, culture and reskilling for digital disruption.

“More is being asked of HR leaders today. They are taking the lead in areas of workplace culture development, employee engagement and steering businesses through the future of work. All the while keeping businesses compliant with the many industrial relations and legislative obligations. Balancing these requirements in a complex environment like Australia is quite an undertaking.” said Mr Megas.

“I’m proud of our focus in delivering seamless compliant solutions to our clients, so they can spend more time on their business. Solutions such as our Single Touch Payroll service showcases our innovation that balance compliance management, efficiency and insight.”

ADP launched a Single Touch Payroll solution in 2018 to address compliance with the Australian Tax Office reporting that is now required with each pay run. The ADP solution provides additional services to make compliance simple and insightful, such as pre-submission validation so that employers minimise the risk of sending poor data to the ATO and straight through lodgement via ADP payroll solutions.

“And there is still more to come.” added Mr Megas, “I’m excited by the new employee interface that our R&D team are currently developing. This will help HR professionals engage their employees in payroll and it’s coming to our clients soon.”
